The Woodhouse Mill area has seen 63 new cases in the seven days to January 26 - a rise of 173.9 per cent which is almost triple the week beforehand.
It means it has a rolling rate of 1,003.7 cases per 100,000 population, making it one of the highest areas in the country.

Hide AdThe second worst affected area of Sheffield is Parson Cross, where cases have risen by 32.4 per cent in the past week with a rolling rate of 462.1.
The city’s Covid infection rate has decreased overall since the latest national lockdown began, but since mid-January the rate of positive Covid cases per 100,000 people in Sheffield has risen in more neighbourhoods than it has fallen.
