Let’s hear it for those people who, without question, run in to burning buildings to protect us or are on the scene at a car crash to cut people out, let’s hear it for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service in Sheffield.
With so many pictures in the archives of firefighters hard at work, meeting politicians and making friends at fundays to chose from we have dug 18 pictures to take you back to the early noughties.
