It’s the most wonderful time of the year and although the holidays will be slightly different in 2020 it hasn’t stopped some spectacular Christmas lights displays from popping up around the city.
In most streets you can find a house that’s glittered with lights, giant snowmen and nativity scenes, often playing music to amuse the little ones.
Some households have even put up stunning decorations and displays, in line with coronavirus guidance, to raise money for chosen charities.
Here are pictures of some that Star readers have spotted while out and about in the city, all of which certainly bring that festive cheer and light up the darkest of winter nights.
If you think you’ve outdone yourself with the festive decorations this year, you can send a photo to [email protected]
