Free Chicken Tenders and meet Sheffield Sharks basketball players at opening of new Sheffield restaurant at Meadowhall

In the southern states of the USA, Slim Chickens is already a household name and the brand is synonymous with freshness, quality, cooked-to-order chicken with 14 house sauces.

For its latest UK restaurant opening, diners can join the celebration on Friday 19th May, upstairs in the Oasis Dining Quarter at Meadowhall in Sheffield.

Free chicken for first 30 in line

For each of the first 30 diners through the door after the new restaurant opens at noon, there will be three free Chicken Tenders to enjoy.

There is also the chance to meet professional basketball players from the Sheffield Sharks team, who will make guest appearances during the opening day.

On top of that, Sheffield United season ticket holders can continue to receive 10% off the price of their meals up until the end of the 2023 season in late summer*.

Award-winning dining

The perfect blend of buttermilk marinated chicken and the blues soundtrack is also proving to be a big hit this side of the Atlantic.

All of the Slim Chickens dishes are cooked to order and ready to eat in 10 minutes. Chicken Tenders are the best-selling dish on the menu, with an emphasis is on quality and freshness. There’s also chicken wings and a vegetarian option of plant-based ‘Chicks’.

To make them even tastier, there are as many as 14 different dipping sauces to choose from. Take your pick from Spicy BBQ or Fiery Inferno for those who like it hot, Blue Cheese or Garlic Cheese, or the more traditional Buffalo, Honey Mustard or House Ranch. Or for something different, try the Mango Habanero or Sriracha Garlic.

Sandwiches, salads and wraps offer more alternatives, while kids meals, shakes and drinks means there is something to give the whole family a treat.
