Local window company Global Windows has made the finals in the prestigious national awards, after being recognised for significant business growth and a commitment to helping the local community for the second year running.

Launched in 2004, the G-Awards is a national awards scheme recognising and rewarding excellence in the glass and glazing industry.

Overseen by an independent panel of judges, Global Windows has been recognised for the opening of its brand new Handsworth showroom which houses a vast range of high-quality windows and doors.

Earlier this year, the company also renewed a special partnership with Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, a local charity that supports children with life-limiting illnesses, after having raised over £4,000 for their unique cause.

“The G-Awards have always represented the very best in the UK’s glass and glazing industry, and it’s a real honour to have been named a finalist,” said Global Windows Managing Director Liam Hulme.

“Our entire team has put a lot of effort into the growth of Global Windows, with the highlight of the past 12 months being the opening of our new showroom and having contributed to our local community through a very worthy cause.

“We have a commitment to serving our local community, not only with our home improvement products, but with quality service and charity as well.

“To be recognised by the judges for all our efforts is very humbling.”

G-Award winners will be announced at a gala dinner on the 25th of November at Intercontinental London Park Lane.
