Savour the slow-cooked goodness of Kleftiko – with tenderly braised, succulent lamb served, roasted potatoes, carrots, red Capia pepper and herbs. Or choose marinated meats prepared in an earthen clay pot and cooked in a wood-burning oven for extra flavour.

Moussaka as well as kebabs, with lamb, aubergine, tomato, onion and mixed peppers topped with cheese, are both favourites. Or try the prawn casserole, cooked with a fragrant selection of herbs and served on a bed or rice.

Chicken comes with a creamy sauce, mashed potato and asparagus, while desserts include syrup-topped baklava as well as Belgian chocolate pudding and Künefe, which is made from two layers of crispy filo dough filled with cheese, syrup and sprinkled with pistachios.
