Wine, women and song for musician

NEIL McSweeney, above, must be the only Sheffield musician to get his name and face on a wine label.

As you can see, they printed a special wine label in his honour.

All or nothing...

THE Diary's piece about receiving six letters from Sheffield City Council's planning department about a neighbour's house alterations brought a rueful comment from former Lord Mayor Mike Pye, above.

He lives just as close and hasn't had a single letter inviting him to comment.

"And I'm the former chair of the planning committee," he says.
