United have the monopoly on current position

THIS is going to upset one half of the city.

The Sheffield United square on the new Sheffield Monopoly board is worth 160 but the Wednesday one is a cut price 140.

"How do you design a board which keeps both sets of fans happy?" groans promoter Graham Barnes.

He claims he racked his brains to decide which club came top but should it be on alphabetical order, age, most fans or league position?

Why not have them both the same value, Graham?

"The sets are themed. The clubs are in the sports set and it would mean some other sporting organisation trumping them," he insists.

So Blades are top dogs because they were in the Premiership last year.

"We apologise to Wednesday fans but we are sure they will love the game," says Graham hopefully.
