THEY do say where there's muck there's brass... now youngsters in Barnsley could win £500 by helping raise awareness about dog muck!
Youngsters in Grimethorpe are helping to educate the community on the laws surrounding dogs and dog fouling.
Known as “The Grimy Growlers” Year 7 children from Willogarth High School have entered the South Yorkshire Police Life Style Project, which carries a prize of 500.
The 11 and 12-year-olds are spending their summer holidays designing posters and leaflets to help raise awareness.
