Bizarre ruling
I don't watch Big Brother or the celebrity version but I raised a eyebrow when some woman called Beth Chapman was denied entry to Britain because of her criminal convictions.
Shoplifting was her main misdemeanour. Now I find it unbelievable that she has been denied entry, yet every day we read in the press of all sorts of criminals coming to this country who have committed far worse crimes but they can live here.
I find this ruling bizarre. The authorities want to sort out the udesirables coming over, not some woman who probably no-one has heard of sitting on her bum in a house for a few weeks.
