Boatloads of fun for youngsters playing at pirates

Swashbuckling youngsters brandished balloon swords as they became pirates for a day in Sheffield city centre.

Children, pirates and even a dragon came together in a dancing extravaganza as part of The Beach on the Moor promotion.

The event captured the imagination of kids and made the most of the sunshine as the shopping centre was transformed into a virtual beach, complete with sand, surf simulator and deckchairs.
