Bonnie girl needs a home

Do you have space in your heart and home for this Bonnie lass?

Two-year-old Bonnie was brought to Sheffield Animal Centre following a cruelty investigation after she was found abandonded.

RSPCA spokesman Adam Spencer said: “Bonnie is a fantastic lady who has a lust for life and she is seeking an active home where she can have lots of physical and mental stimulation.

“An anxious lady due to her past, Bonnie finds it hard to cope sometimes, as she has been through a traumatic experience and has also never really been shown the right way. She especially finds it tough in the kennel environment so we are constantly working hard to keep her mind busy doing great things and keep her feeling happy and comfortable, until we can find her a great new home.

“Her anxieties she can cause her to appear rather distracted but she enjoys spending time in the quieter zones on site where she is able to relax, have some time away from the hustle and bustle of the kennels and spend some quality time with her carer.

“Bonnie struggles to make new friends but has been spending some time around other dogs here at the centre and she is beginning to manage much better, but she is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and have her owner`s love to herself.”
