David Maynard, business development director at Hesley Group, which runs the care village, said: "It was a sudden and unexpected death, and our thoughts and condolences go out to the family and staff who supported the person concerned.
"It is now a matter of investigation for the coroner's office and it would not be appropriate to comment further at this stage."
