Bright outlook for store

A "DOWDY" Sheffield charity shop is to close for two weeks for a much-needed lick of paint.

Oxfam on Fulwood Road, Broomhill, will close on Sunday August 12 for its first facelift in 20 years.

The store has managed to remain open six days a week because it is staffed by a constant stream of dedicated volunteers, the youngest of whom is 14. Helpers have included overseas students, visiting Europeans and university students.
