Bungalow fire damaged roof

A MAN was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in his Sheffield bungalow last night.

Firefighters were called to his home on Queens Road, Beighton, at around 10.30pm after a fire started in the hallway spread to the roof.

Two fire engines were sent to tackle the blaze, which started accidentally, and a hydraulic platform was needed for firefighters to remove dangerous tiles from the badly damaged roof of the property.
