Challenge to young readers

YOUNG Sheffield bookworms can get stuck in to a summer reading challenge.

Every child who signs up to the Big Wild Read will receive a folder full of tasks to keep them entertained.

Those taking part will collect prizes along the way for each book read as well as receiving stickers, 3D bookmarks, eco testers and fridge magnets.

Every child will be asked to read six books, collecting a prize as they complete each one.

Each successful bookworm will be rewarded with a Big Wild Read medal and certificate to celebrate their success.

All 30 of Sheffield’s libraries are taking part in the fun, which is open to four-to-11-year-olds.
