Meet our 2015 Responsible PROUD Award Winner, Clare Hutchinson

Clare Hutchinson, Community Occupational Therapist at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, spends her days assessing clients - of all ages and with a range of disabilities - for aids and adaptations to maintain their independence within their own homes.

PROUD judges said Clare embraces the opportunity to make a positive impact on her community and shows a real commitment to her work - something she should be commended for.

Clare said: “I am very proud to be a part of the Community Occupational Therapy Team.

“When faced with changes and challenges within the service, we work closely to adapt to these changes and maintain a high standard of work for our clients.

“I could not believe I had been nominated for an award, but being a responsible practitioner goes without saying. This is part of what makes you who you are and how you relate to your colleagues and clients. It is part of providing a good service.”

Sarah Jackson, Occupational Therapy Specialist Practitioner, who nominated Clare for the award, said: said: “This was really well deserved. I have learned so much from Claire and the whole team really appreciates the support Clare gives us.”
