Cannabis set-up is discovered by police called to Sheffield house blaze

A drugs set-up was found inside a Burngreave house where a fire broke out today, said police.

Police were called to a property on Brunswick Road in Sheffield at 9.33am today (May 1) following reports of a fire.

Three fire engines and an aerial ladder were sent to the scene.

Emergency services attended and ensured that the building and residents were made safe. No injuries were reported.A cannabis set-up was located at the address, said a South Yorkshire police spokeswoman.

No arrests have been made, she added.
