Hide AdAmy, aged 28, said: “I just want people to be aware of what is happening. Clearly with the lack of people and police around the breaking in and stealing is starting.
“People are obviously desperate and it is only going to get worse – but if they would have knocked on the door and asked me for the nappies I would have given it to them.”
Amy said she had actually bought the nappies for a friend, leaving then in the car ready to take round to his house.
She is currently living on the Langsett estate with her 90-year-old grandma - who she will be looking after throughout the coronavirus outbreak.

“I also have to go to my father-in-law’s funeral on Friday and the insurance company says they won’t pay out until all this is over so it is not what you want.”
