Fire crews rush to blaze on South Yorkshire industrial site

Firefighters from across Yorkshire rushed to an industrial site to tackle a silo fire on Thursday morning.

Crews from South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue and West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue attended the incident at a site on Sheffield Road in Crow Edge, Barnsley at around 8.33am, a spokesperson said.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally but exact details are not yet known. Nobody was injured, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue confirmed.
