Four people – two 18-year-old women, a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl – were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm without intent.

Megan Eyre, who is trying to raise £650, said her nan, grandad and uncle had been involved in the attack.

She said her uncle had been hit with a bottle and videos were taken to be ‘placed online for fun’.

“My Nan tried to intervene where she was also attacked. This has now caused to have severe memory loss,” she wrote.

“This event has traumatised my grandparents to the point where my nan won’t even go in her own garden.

“We dont have very much money as a family and we need to get CCTV put up asap so they feel slightly more comfortable.”

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 834 of May 5.
