Clyn Beaumont, known as Glyn to friends, was fatally injured when he was hit by his black Range Rover Sport on Viking Lea Drive, Manor, at 11pm on Saturday, May 30.

South Yorkshire Police said the full circumstances of 44-year-old’s death are not yet known.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand.

Posting a tribute on Facebook, Peter Blades said: “It still doesn’t feel real. I can’t believe you’re gone. Love you always Glyn, life won’t be the same no more.”

His work colleague posted: "R.I.P Clyn, you will be missed mate.”

And friend Gareth Muircroft added: “R.I.P my good friend, still in shock from the news. Fly high mate, gone but never forgotten.”
