Major road in Sheffield blocked off following police incident
A major road in Sheffield has been blocked off this evening by emergency services responding to an incident thought to be a concern for safety.

The incident, which occurred on Park Square, also saw a huge number of police vehicles blocking the traffic.
A tram also had to stop as the police dealt with the incident on the tramline that crosses over the road.
Witnesses said an individual was taken away and traffic was being released.
South Yorkshire Police has been contacted for information.
