A man remains in hospital in a serious condition after being stabbed in Rotherham town centre.

The 30-year-old was taken to hospital yesterday, Wednesday, June 7, after police were called to reports of a stabbing on High Street, Rotherham, at 4.50pm.
Police said this afternoon that enquiries were ongoing and officers remained at the scene investigating.
Detectives have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with any information to call police on 101, quoting incident number 672 of July 7.
