Their photographs and names have been published by South Yorkshire Police, along with brief details of the offences officers want to speak to them about.
Some of those in the ‘Most Wanted’ list have been evading arrest for years, including Ahmed Farrah, who is wanted in connection with the murder of a young man in Sheffield in 2018. To date, nobody has been charged over the murder, leaving the victim’s family in turmoil.

5. WANTED: Have you seen Nelson Smith?
Officers in Barnsley are appealing for the whereabouts of wanted man Nelson Smith, also known as Nelson Harbour. Launching a public appeal on June 27, 2023, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Smith, 46, of Bolton-Upon-Dearne is wanted in connection to harassment and stalking, and arson with intent to endanger life. "Smith is described as white, 5ft 8ins, medium build, with short brown hair and facial hair. "Smith is known to frequent Barnsley and has connections to Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire." 6. WANTED: Man sought in connection with serious Rotherham collision
Police are working to locate Kallum Flowers, who is wanted in connection with a road traffic collision which occurred at the junction of Rotherham Road and Firth Road in Wath-Upon-Dearne, Rotherham on Sunday 11 June at around 8:30pm. Launching a public appeal on June 17, 2023, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "A 27-year-old man remains in a critical condition following the incident. "Flowers, 33, is white, of medium build with dark hair. He has a scar on his forehead and tattoos on his wrists reading “mum” and “dad”. "Have you seen him? We are keen to locate and speak to Flowers as part of our ongoing investigation." Officers in Sheffield are appealing for help to find Sheffield man Joseph Johnson. Launching a public appeal on June 10, 2023, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Johnson, 18, is wanted for failing to appear and in connection to burglaries reported between October 2022 and April 2023. "He is described as 5ft 10ins tall, slim build with short dark brown hair and facial hair. "Johnson is known to frequent the Park Springs and Fir Vale areas of Sheffield." Launching a public appeal on June 5, 2023, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Platts, 36, from the Waterthorpe area of Sheffield, is wanted in connection with a series of thefts and burglaries in the Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre and surrounding area between 22 February 2023 and 18 May 2023. "He is described as white, around 6ft 2ins tall, of a medium build and with short slicked back brown hair and stubble. "Police want to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to Platts recently, or knows where he may be staying."
