Detectives investigating the death of the 53-year-old, whose body was found in a house in Salisbury Road, Crookes, are no longer treating the incident as suspicious.

A 55-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has now been released under investigation.

Another month passes for family of Sheffield murder victim desperate for justice

South Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to a property on Salisbury Road just after 7am yesterday morning following a call made to the ambulance service reporting a woman had died.“The woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. “Following detailed enquiries, officers are no longer treating the woman’s death as suspicious, but investigations are continuing to understand the circumstances. “A 55-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene has now been released under investigation.”
