A £700,000 cannabis factory has been discovered on one of Sheffield’s busiest roads.

The drug den was located on London Road yesterday after officers raided a property and found mature plants, worth around £1,000 each, growing throughout.

Last week, after a tip-off, officers found a £1 million cannabis farm in a former café above a supermarket on Petre Street, Burngreave, Sheffield.
