Police say they are ‘growing increasingly concerned’ for the welfare of a man who went missing from a hospital in Rotherham.

South Yorkshire Police are urging the public to help them trace a man called David who was last seen earlier today (July 29).

The 56-year-old disappeared from Rotherham General Hospital at around 1.53 pm.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for David's welfare and want to speak to anybody who might have seen him.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, with an average build and dark hair.

He is thought to be wearing a grey hooded jumper with 'Dewalt' on the front and dark coloured jeans.
