Northbourne, who describe themselves as a hard hitting four piece from Sheffield, discovered their studio at in Shalesmoor, had been broken into last night, April 17, and that thieves had stolen “pretty much everything” they’d worked for in the last four to five years.
The band believe the theft could have occurred sometime within the past week as they had only been able to carry out weekly checks on the studio due to the current coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

He said: “One of our lads went down last night to go and gather some more gear from there and discovered it had been broken into. They’ve broke our door down which is inside of another building.
Reece added: “We’ve written a list out of what has gone are estimating our £6,000 worth. It’s guitar amps, recording equipment, three guitars, various pedals and cables that we use – we’ve got serial numbers as well for most of the stuff that has gone.
“Now, whenever we come out of lockdown, we’re going to have to find £6,000 to get everything back. We had things booked before but obviously they’ve been pushed back with whats going on.
