Liam Jackson, 21, of no fixed address, appeared at a Sheffield Magistrates’ Court hearing, sitting at Sheffield Crown Court, on March 26, after he admitted failing to comply with a community order.

The court heard Jackson had been given to a community order in February, 2019, but failed to maintain contact with the probation service after September when he was evicted from a property.

Jackson admitted breaching the community order.

The probation service stated Jackson had previously been attending appointments and had completed unpaid work.

Sarah Staniland, defending, said he hopes to move in with his sister.

District Judge Naomi Redhouse urged Jackson to get somewhere to live because in the current situation she feared he will struggle on the streets.

The breach was marked with one-day of custody deemed served after he had been remanded following his arrest.
