South Yorkshire Police issue Covid fines and make immigration arrests after Audi pulled over
They pulled over an Audi on Meadow Bank Road, Rotherham, last week and fined the four occupants for breaching Covid rules in place in a bid to prevent the spread of Coronavirus during the pandemic.
South Yorkshire Police said: “Now we know that in the near future, the current Covid restrictions will be changed, but at the moment they are the same as they have been for the past few months.

Hide Ad“Without a lawful excuse for why they were in the car together, they quickly received Covid fines.”
The driver of the car was dealt with for unlicensed and uninsured driving, along with the owner of the car, who was sat in the back.
Officers also seized the car.
Two of the occupants were arrested at the scene for suspected immigration offences.
