Thieves steal cars from Land Rover dealership in Sheffield during daring late-night raid

Thieves stole a number of vehicles from a Land Rover dealership in Sheffield in a daring raid.

The alarm was raised just before 10.30pm yesterday when it was discovered that the Guy Salmon Land Rover dealership on Savile Street, Attercliffe, had been broken into.

South Yorkshire Police said a number of vehicles were stolen but the exact number and the makes and models targeted by crooks have not yet been disclosed.

No arrests have yet been made in connection with the high value raid.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called at 22.28pm last night with reports of a burglary at Guy Salmon Land Rover on Savile Street in Sheffield.

“It is reported that unknown offenders gained access to the site and a number of vehicles were stolen.

“Enquiries are ongoing at this time.”

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 873 of March 14.
