Cutbacks to the elderly

Having attended a chairobics session this morning with my elderly mum, I learned the Sheffield council are making extensive cuts to Activity Sheffield, resulting in redundancy for ours and many other exercise instructors.

The session today was attended by 21 people doing chairobics and table tennis.

How sad that this important connection for people aged 60 to 90 may lose the opportunity to stay healthy physically and emotionally.
