Daft hats?

Denise Fox has a heart to match her hat (Letters, August 13). She is kind and kindhearted, but I know someone who wore one of those, as you say, daft hats. She also had a heart of gold. She was ill with cancer but full of fun. She has since died. It's not the hat, but the heart.
