'Dream show' to close

ART lovers are being urged to see a unique exhibition of paintings in South Yorkshire before the show closes.

Cannon Hall in Cawthorne, Barnsley, has hosted the ‘Painters of Dreams’ show all summer - but finishes on September 9.

The exhibition includes Pre-Raphaelite paintings on loan from London's Tate Britain and De Morgan Centre as well as works by John Roddam Spencer-Stanhope, who was born at Cannon Hall. It is the first time the works have been on display in Barnsley.
