Environment show opens
GREEN-minded people in north Derbyshire are being urged to make a pledge to fight climate change.
North East Derbyshire District Council is staging an exhibition, called Everybody’s Talking about Climate Change, at its main offices on Saltergate, Chesterfield.
It will run from August 13 to 17, from noon to 2.30pm.
Staff will offer tips on how to reduce our impact on the environment.
Council Leader, Graham Baxter, said: “Everyone is being asked to play their part in tackling the problem of climate change.”
