Most will be needed for a ball scene shot inside Chatsworth and so should look like 18th century aristocrats. If the mirror tells you otherwise, there is scope for lesser sorts.

"Most people will only be needed for one or two days," says Nick who is holding an open casting session this Saturday, at the Winding Wheel, Holywell Street, Chesterfield, from 9am until 5pm.

The beautiful Georgiana (1757-1806), was married to the fifth Duke.

She died of an eye complaint.

The pay rate for extras is 70 a day.
