Flats plan approved
A TOWN centre flats and office complex can go-ahead after a Rotherham construction company secured £9.6million to finance the project.
The development, in Moorgate Road, will see 62 apartments and 25,000 square foot of office space built.
The Horbury Group, based across the road in Moorgate Crofts, will also use part of the funding to finance three other residential developments around the town. The development is expected to be completed by August 2008 and is in the final phases of planning.
Managing Director, Trevor Wragg, said: “The new developments are going to change the shape of Rotherham.”
