Seven awards were handed out, including the Sheffield Smile Award sponsored by The Star and won by Alicja Zalewska of the Copthorne Hotel.

Ian Slater, chairman of Hospitality Sheffield, said: “The hospitality industry has changed so much over the past 30 years but one thing has remained: excellent service – and the people who deliver it – is still the most important thing to our guests.”
