Hostile Flintoff puts Yorkshire on rack

YORKSHIRE are on the rack in the Roses clash and Andrew Flintoff has set his sights on following up his best bowling performance since his injury with an equally adept batting display in Lancashire's LV County Championship clash at Headingley.

Flintoff turned in 11.5 overs in the Division One Roses and closed with impressive figures of 3-38 – removing Darren Gough and Ajmal Shahzad with the last two deliveries of the Yorkshire innings.

Yorkshire – 22-5 at one stage – made just 144 after winning the toss, with Glen Chapple's devastating opening spell leaving them reeling at 1-3 before Flintoff returned for a hostile second spell to wrap up the innings.
