These are among a list of many prohibitions.

Elsewhere the Bible endorses murdering your children for answering back, mass genocide, rape and slavery.

It also claims that insects have four legs, that bats are birds and that Pi is exactly three.

That people cherry-pick the bits they like should come as no surprise.

Because to believe it all requires a suspension of thought that very few would endorse.

Personally, it’s not a book that I take much notice of!
