As part of the BBC Music Day celebrations of Friday, the ex-Pulp frontman recorded a brief podcast, reciting travel information for Sheffield trams.

In his typically Sheffield accent, and his recognisable mellow and slow dulcet tones, Jarvis gave travel information on the Stagecoach yellow route service, bound for Middlewood.

In the 43 second clip, Jarvis recites word-for-word the message all passengers hear when they board the tram.
