Man quizzed over rape
A MAN was being quizzed by police last night in connection with the rape of a woman under a Sheffield railway bridge.
The 21-year-old local man was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with the attack on Thursday July 19 in Sussex Street, near the Wicker.
The 27-year-old woman and her 36-year-old friend were attacked following a night out.
The man was also being questioned about another incident when a woman was picked up in Huddersfield and brought to Sheffield against her will on Sunday July 29.
