Man stabbed outside Sheffield bar

A man has been stabbed in the chest outside a bar in Sheffield.

The man was assaulted on London Road close to Barry’s Bar in the early hours of December 19.

The 28-year-old victim was taken to the Northern General Hospital where he remains in a stable condition with a puncture wound to his chest. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

Officers were called at 4.21am and three men were arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remain in police custody.
