Move over, Craig, as kittens make the Audi A4 a purr-fect family car

A DONCASTER motorist has been forced to a halt by his back seat passengers - a litter of six kittens.

Traffic management boss Craig Midson was looking forward to driving his new Audi A4 until he learned a cat at the firm’s premises in Thorne had moved her new family into the rear of the car.

RSPCA officers have advised they should not be moved for a month so Craig has put up a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the car and started driving his wife’s vehicle instead.

The cat had originally given birth in one of the company’s vans but obviously wanted a more upmarket home so suddenly upped sticks and slipped onto the back seat of the Audi where the litter is looking very comfortable.

Craig, aged 38, said: “We called the RSPCA for advice and they told us to leave them where they are for at least five weeks if possible because they are so young.

“We have grown quite attached to them. Everyone who comes here knows about them and keeps asking how they are doing. They have caused quite a stir.”
