New resource for vulnerable
A CHARITY which helps people receiving social support to overcome their problems is launching a new resource centre in Doncaster.
Action Housing and Support provides support to adults judged to be vulnerable who have a history of criminal behaviour, drug or alcohol problems or mental health difficulties.
The new facility, at the charity’s base in Duke Street, will be staffed by advisers who will be on hand to assist people trying to establish stable and independent lives.
The refurbished centre boasts computer and internet facilities, an information library, a reading area and refreshment facilities and is open between 10 am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
