Blocked drains not fault of cars
I read with much interest Nick Hetherington's comments concerning the gulleys that are so blocked they will not allow any water down them at all.
I live at Woodseats and walk down Scarsdale Road on a rgular basis.
There are approx six gulleys on one side of the road and every one is totaly blocked. When it rains the water runs straight over the top of them.
I do not recall the last time they were cleaned out.
Mr Hetherington can’t say it’s because cars are parked because cars only park on one side of that road.
