Good Samaritan didn't get money back
ON Tuesday, July 10 at the Northern General Hospital, waiting for my mum, I sat on a bench and spoke to a lady.
Their car had run out of petrol and the husband and son had gone to Page Hall to the bank and to get some petrol. Half an hour later, they arrived - no money - no petrol.
Neither could agree what to do so suggested I loan them 20 to get petrol and deposit for petrol can. I gave them my address to return the money.
The couple, from Killamarsh, have not yet returned the money.
Thanks, they must have seen me coming but, helping people should make you feel worthwhile, not a prat!
