“The country has been irrevocably divided”

I see the dinosaurs have led a two-pronged attack on Veronica Hardstaffe in defence of Nigel "Hitler". They attack someone who has actually played a part in the European parliament.

However, of course, they know better, just like the ‘odd’ Sheffield United supporter thinks they know better than Chris Wilder when it comes to team selection and tactics. I don’t think so.

I refer to him with the name Hitler because there are strong similarities with how the Germans were fed propaganda in the 1930s to what this man preaches, unsurprisingly so as Farage is known to have greatly admired the despot.

Olsen defends the fact that the Brexit company chairman didn’t do any real work because his intentions from the word go were to get us out of the "imaginary" shackles of Brussels.

I ask, would he vote in a new member of a golf committee who had the express intention of closing the golf club down, at the same time as contributing nothing positive?

Anyone who has ever watched coverage of Farage speaking in the EU parliament will have seen first-hand how all he does is insult people each and every time. How they have not frog-marched him out is beyond me, but then again they are democratic despite claims to the contrary.

The country has been irrevocably divided by the actions of Farage, Johnson, Gove and their billionaire backers which has facilitated the old ‘divide and rule’ mantra, and they will now take full advantage of their seemingly ‘untouchable’ position.

Just one example is to take a comment from a gentleman who recently wrote on here how he had given Johnson his vote saying something to the effect ‘now get on with doing the right things for the country, such as cancelling the HS2 project’.

I see he took notice of that one!

We should not be surprised though as his father is said to benefit financially in a big way due to compulsory purchase of his home, that he will have no difficulty in replacing at lower cost.
