Why Sheffield's Ponds Forge won't reopen - letter

I would just like to offer my opinion on Ponds Forge.

It will not open again, because Sheffield Council and its leaders don’t want it to reopen.

They have absolutely no idea of running a large city.

I have, in my 73 years, seen Sheffield degenerate into a total joke.

It will never open again, because all the clubs they have ignored will have found another venue.

And come April, Sheffield will then announce we have come to the very sad decision that due to lack of demand we will have to close Ponds Forge.

Funny that. I seem to remember Don Valley had the same fate.

Watch this space, the arena will be next.
